How much do you charge?
Our fees are structured according to how many hours worked, location, equipment needs, pre planning requirements, as well as many other aspects relevant to a particular booking therefore we do not currently post prices as these often can prove missleading. We do, however endavour to always provide competitive and reasonable prices for the services we provide.
Do make any charges for setting up or breaking down?
No, not if we can attend the venue immediately prior to the booking times, therefore, time to set up and break down is usually included in our price. In the event of setting up well in advance of the event, additional costs may apply however we will tell you at the time of enquiry.
How long do you need?
Set up usually takes at least 1 hour prior to the start of the event (unless otherwise arranged) and require approximately 45 minutes to pack away, you will need to ensure your venue can accomadate these requirments. These times depend on the access to the function room, access via stairs or long walk ways will require more time. Where we have to use the same access to your guests, we will usually delay the movement of any equipment until the numbers are low enough to do this safely.
Do you charge for travel?
This is usually included within our estimate, where we charge this seperately we will inform you at the time of enquiry.
Is there any special information you need?
If your booking has restricted parking, lengthy access routes, is upstairs, or has a sound limiter device please inform us when enquiring. We will always do everything we can tyo ensure any event encounters no problems, however we do have to consider the safety of you and your guests, our staffs manual handling operations, staff safety and equipment security. our terms and conditions provide details of any additional charges that may apply for none disclosure of information deemed relevant, or where it results in us withdrawing our services due to the potential for damage to our equipment or detrimental to the health & Safety of our staff, or your guests.
When should my event finish?
For weddings you should consider the timescale of the event. Remember that the evening function and its start time is reliant not only on other earlier activities which might include a ceremony and wedding breakfast running to schedule, but also the arrival of any guests for the evening function who may be running late. So don't book your disco to start too early in order to allow for some inevitable over running and late arriving guests.
I might want the DJ to play a little longer is this possible?
Yes it is, we are more than happy to try and accomodate all reasonable requests. If on the night you require the DJ to play past the time booked additional costs will apply. We will tell you what charges will apply when quoting for the booking. However on the night you must seek the consent of the venue manager prior to making any request to the DJ. The DJ will ask for this to be confirmed by the venue management. The more notice you can give the DJ the better as this helps them shape the music format of the remaining evening more efficiently.
Do you provide pre event planning meetings?
Yes, for certain events, and once confirmed we are happy to arrange a face to face meeting to discuss your requirements. In order to keep our prices very competitive we do not usually factor this into our prices. However we are happy to provide details of costs upon request.
